About Me: l. johnston is a writer, aspirant musician, poet, perfect parent, who has reached the middle of his 4th decade of serving mankind. He wonders if there isn't just one thing he hasn't screwed up somehow, and is amazed at how many things are going right in his life. Published? Yes. "Mostly in collections & anthologies", he huffs. A recent poem, "dreaming at dawn" will be published in a Noble House, U.K. collection, "theatre of the mind" this summer. "i'm just waiting on a check from some somma these shlubs", he comments. He adds that while exposure in collections, anthologies and his impressive internet postings "are all well and good", he opines, most humbly, that it "aint even bought one case of beer, and sure aint gonna pay no bills around here"... always the poet. His favourite car? "Nash Rambler! I love the pushbutton transmission, and i like to ramble, and Ogden Nash is one of my favourite poems. now imagine me on speed in one, rambling away at a million miles a minute...
